Hi, Duncan!! I am not feeling very much better, but thanks for asking. I am trying to answer some posts, but I think I am several hundred behind or something. Not a very promising situation. It is raining and thundering here again today. San Francisco IS cold in the summer, compared to most of the United States, but we have wonderful days in the low nineties in October when it is starting to get very cold everywhere else. Of course, we look like the English or something with our pasty white skin when we dig out sleeveless blouses and shorts from the backs of our closets to stay cool. The rain may have exacted its toll on my health, but not on my general sense of compassion and fairness. It seems to me that you, and the other people who post over here who advocate pure libertarian systems, are selfish and short-sighted in ways that, if your beliefs were put into general practice, would destabilize society and cause great suffering. Am I misunderstanding something?
