Hi Kervin,

Well its here Kevin, the-------Celeron Killer-------a "changing of the guard" with AMD's K6-2, a next generation CPU that includes the 3DNOW! that has shifted AMD from being an x86 follower to an x86 leader which is long overdue

Read all about it at:

hardware.pairnet.com

Also better read the Legal Note fine print at the bottom of the page that says:

"The above information represents an opinion and should not be interpreted as fact. Neither Hardware.PairNET.com nor its sponsor, PairNET.com can or will affirm its validity or truthfulness, and as a result, all information presented here must be interpreted as invalid and/or untrue". Huh?

Kevin - Re: "Looks like CyberSmash won't be using Intel inside their notebooks after all, in spite of all your hype a couple months ago:"

Looks like you're right.

Too bad they lost 5 or 6 months worth of notebook business waiting for AMD to service their "preferred accounts".

However - check out CyberMAX's Intel Desktop systems - they must have 20 or 30 varieties now - thanks to AMD's marketing and production blunders.
