Hey Caroline, I've never understood that saying; I tried to split a hair today and was unsuccessful in my attempts. I did manage to nick one of my fingers, though -- sort of like a paper cut, only deeper. It's a good thing I've stocked up on Band-Aids, gauze, etc.....(taken from my personal contingency plan "Mid-Level Y2K Disaster Scenario" supplies).

Forgive me people -- these Y2K threads need an injection of humor, and I thank all of you for your informative links. As a small investor and a concerned individual regarding Y2K, I just wish (sigh) that my friends and family would open their minds, just a little bit, to the potential side effects awaiting us all in the not-so-distant future. Unfortunately, they would rather have me committed to a lovely sanitarium and prescribed ample medications....back to the 60's for me......lol............Lorraine

P.S. You all have a great weekend
