I don't know of any software that will do a test/fix across a network. That doesn't mean that there isn't something out there, I'm just not aware of it. Our older machines were tested individually, and fixed if need.

If your 486's are serving the purpose, and you can do an easy flash upgrade to the bios, I would say it would be much cheaper to do the fix. IMHO JSI
