<<1)If things get worse domestically the Pakistani military who is waiting in the wings will cease the opportunity and the country.>>

I agree with you on the first premise, that the pakistani military will seize the opportunity - financial strain and economic collapse - and install itself or a stooge to run the country. Pakistan has taken this path before.

<2)Backed into a corner they could also mount an attack on India since they have nothing loose at this point.>

On the 2nd premise, I have some reservation. I doubt it very much that Pakistan will attack India to divert attention from the ensuing economic chaos, because the Pakistani military had a brutal humiliation in the past, when it engaged the Indians in the armed conflicts. The pakistani military does not want a repeat performance.

<Now they have nuclear capability but no money, the chinese must be laughing.>>

Reminds me of " Buddha is smiling". Or is it laughing Buddha or laughing Confucius or a laughing cow (Indians) A little self-deprecation won't hurt. <gg>

Mohan:

Let the Pakistanis attack India. It might be India's chance to go in and clean up as they should have a long time ago. Peace will only come once we have one India. That will give the Chinese something to think about.
