Hmmm, maybe WAVX doesn't need to go to each OEM...

I studying today's press release, the thought occurs to me: If you get a motherboard maker to include the WAVE chip, and that motherboard maker ships to all box and chip maunfacturers, does WAVX necessairly have to go to each OEM? Does WAVX need to go to Gateway or Dell and get permission for inlcude the hcip if it is incorporated into a mother board already?

My central concern about WAVX has always been the amount of time and effort it takes to build the infrastructure, vs. the much quicker software solution. If WAVX can get into boxes by way of circuit board makers like Jabil and SMSC, sounds like a much more efficient way of getting where you want to go.

Interesting....
