It never has been a 2.85 stock and probably never will be. The 2.85 was arrived at by dividing the presumed value of assets in the ground by the number of shares that will be outstanding after the merger. Now, try to convince yourself that ME would swap $200,000,000 dollars worth of assets for stock which is valued at $32,500,000 as of right now. It may well be that the ME assets are valued at $200,000,000, but to translate that asset into net profits requires getting it to market and selling for a profit, and that is no easy matter.
I know that you folks hate to have someone say anything other than rosy things about your stocks, but I am still looking for the emperor's new suit.
