Somebody should point this thread out to William Safire, who would no-doubt be interested in how the English language is being re-defined here.

"Now" has been redefined to mean "in the future".

And "immediately" has been redefined to mean "in a few days".

What a flub. At least they had the good sense to issue a clarification.

Does anyone know if the effective date is the day the price will be halved or is it the settlement date? In other words, if it closes at 5.50 today will it open at 2.75 tomorrow or will it be at half the closing for June 2 on the 3rd?
