Go here for E3 news...

We may be able to get a jump of the wire services (maybe) by going to the E3 website ourselves.

Dear Klingerg:

I have little technical expertise. But you are quite a detective.

Your post #2403 reflects that on February 28 Intel bargained to reserve certain manufacturing rights with respect to SMSC's integrated circuits "should [SMSC] be unable to perform its obligations as a supplier."

Your post #2415 reflects that on May 28 SMSC bargained to secure preferred access to Winbond's manufacturing capability.

That is an interesting sequence, especially in light of today's news.

(Naturally, I attribute all good things to the Spragues. One has to admire how Wave has found ways for other companies to advance Wave's cause simply by acting in their respective corporate interests. The Spragues should be commended for the steadiness of their vision and the patience with which they have executed their strategy.)

Best wishes.
