I only recall someone calling Internet FX Design in Houston, only to be told that they had no idea about any testing or something to that effect. I don't really recall any calls being made to Merced, other than what I believe to be the exaggerated claims of people calling them up and harassing them as related by Roni to Joe or Pennygod.

Someone else, not Janice, did post early in the thread that they had called the Wallace Technology number looking for Merced, and then later, after a number was posted for Merced, called it and got an answering machine. I posted the second message here at SI. It was originally posted by RandyWC98 at Yahoo. Here is the text: I forgot to mention in my last post that when I had called wallace Technologies expecting Merced I had asked if they had the number for Merced. It appears to be hooked up to an answering machine. The number is 561-625-0251. I then asked what the message on the machine said. Randy's reply: The message says that you have reached Merced developers of 11th hour software. To get General information press 1. To reach merced developers of 11th hour software for technial support press 2 and to send a fax press 9. I'm getting tired of this rubbish. And John and Joe have the nerve to accuse US of "twisting facts".
