To All: I just had a very encouraging, as well as informative conversation with Michael Rendelman, the branch manager for the IT division in Phoenix, AZ. Some key points from the conversation:
1)The IT division has just added a seasoned recruiter with 30 years of experience in this specific field.
2)They are targeting higher margin niche areas, between the "body shop" high volume/low margin areas and the more specialized areas of IT.
3)They are starting negotiations tomorrow with a major domestic aviation company that has tremendous international exposure for staffing and placement.
4)They have also started to focus on placing qualified applicants from Canada into this country, which shows tremendous possibilities, since the strong dollar conversion rates are attractive.
5)Their website has been delayed due to technical problems: coordinating their own internal lan and server with the web server so that their databases will be connected. This should be resolved shortly, as a technician was in today. They have installed new routers and are working on being online shortly. He will get back to me with a definitive progress report as soon as possible. The website will not be hosted through Earthlink, it will be at USWest, and the technical problems are being worked on as we speak.
6)He told me that the change in management and the strategy that has been put in place "makes sense" and he is very excited about the growth of the company, and feels that they are now in a position to make real progress. There is a tentative managers meeting in June with all of the division heads to plan the next phase of their corporate strategy.
7)He said that Malinoff and DeMichael(from Delaware office) were very seasoned and has brought in a new strategy that works and allows for growth.

ps: still awaiting confirmation on the CC.
