You make some very good points. Your comment regarding "new rules" is interesting. I am starting to believe that investors are dividing into two groups...those that believe the markets are now marching to new rules, and those who don't believe in this theory. Which point of view is correct? I really don't know.

Short term corrections are hard, if not impossible to predict.

I see Dell has been down all day, low volume, so I guess investors are starting to take their vacations. Seriously, I think Dell will trade in the 80 dollar range until the next earnings report comes out. I believe the money managers want to see the next set of numbers before pouring more money into the stock.
