Alex: Then why have so many federal judges (many appointed political hacks) managed to do such harm to the Constitution? As for: "Boundaries, FT, boundaries." Over time special interest groups and the politicos they buy with the promise of power have managed to jump over, tunnel beneath, do an end run around or just blow past with full cannon roaring, many of the restrictions of government power which were put into place by the Founding Fathers. The mess we see today is the result. FT
