RDH, thanks for the complete analysis. I saw the news yesterday and it didn't seem like a big deal to me. Lots of people hit travel sites to plan trips (I use ITN) but end up making reservations in other ways. The action today looks like PTVL was run up on fairly low volume to allow some big trades (10K blocks) out the top. I assume this MMs helping insiders unload. It is already starting to back off.

I don't expect to hold this short til PTVL is in the single digits. But I do enjoy playing the trends, which for PTVL right now is down.

Good luck, Kip

Just read your analysis of what the future might hold for internet online travel business and am glad I shied away from PTVL. With PTVL down another 5/8th right now, the stock does look like it will continue its downward slide into the teens within a few weeks or so.

The big question is whether PTVL can make any money or other internet based companies can make money on the web.
