Insightful and important points all! Certainly must be part of any comprehensive definition of a moron... More importantly, it "raises the bar" (if raises is the appropriate term ) such that the vast majority of everyone here DOESN'T meet the definition, which is where the other definition fell a bit short as other insightful individuals (individual, actually -- Mr. S, stop blushing) also pointed out. So, in a way, it leads to a kinder, gentler forum in that it's tougher to be rated a moron for simply having an unpopular opinion and having the vocabulary/guts/time to state it. WHICH is exactly how this whole thing started on another thread: I was unhappy with the abuse some guy was taking for simply stating his opinion..and here we are. The circle is closed! The universe is once again in balance. Thank you, Mr. Kaye! You are a scholar and a gentleperson!
