The science kits are on hold for now, but we will include figurines. They will tie in with an ad campaign featuring Paul Hogan. We will show him in a hungry state, fighting his way to the ordering counter. Then we show him sitting down, taking a satisfying bite. He looks at the camera and says, "Come to BirdyBurger and they'll throw another Bird on the barbi for you." Our breakfast line up will include scrambled eggs of course.

We also have plans for Europe. We think Europeans won't know the difference, so we are thinking of calling that chain, "EMU". The style will differ slightly from our US restaurants. We hope to offer long-neck beers in Europe as part of the menu.

Some may find this tidbit enjoyable about ostriches.
>>Q. How long is an ostrich's useful productive life?
A. Ostriches can live for 70 years! If they are treated correctly, they can lay for 30 or more of these years. 'Treated correctly' means fed properly, given the necessary vitamin supplements, and rested between each breeding season. The importance of resting a breeding hen for a few months each year cannot be stressed enough. Even if your hen looks like she wants to keep laying forever, she must be given a break between seasons. If not, she will quite probably suffer 'burnout' from overworking, and may well stop laying completely for a year or more.<<
