True, your post makes a good point, that a K6-2 now compares to a PII at roughly the same clock speed in 3D performance. But wait until those DirectX 6 games start coming out--K6-2's relative performance will look more like the 3D Winbench scores with these games.

Can someone explain to me why anyone would buy a PII-300 or 333? K6-2 is as fast in office applications and 3D gaming. And of course, it's much cheaper.

PS By the way, the Kryotech 450/100 MHz K6-2 system is now apparently the fastest commercially shipping x86 box on the market. AMD regains the lead!
