APTX did work for Lexus, does not have a contract with them. The Scotchprint 2000 accepts material 54" wide, not 8 feet. Go to the source and read this from 3M: mmm.com l I haven't heard that APTX is going to print directly on the fabric, as for clearification I'm waiting to hear back from Dave Schalton at APTX. But, all of the info I have says that they print to a transfer material, then apply it to the material using a heat press." ---------------------------------------------------------------------- POST #161 "In an effort to keep this conversation honest and accurate, I called 3M Commercial Graphics and got the same answers: Print width is 54" (52" image) Electrostatic process is toner to paper medium--then heat set upon fabric printers are "on loan" from 3M as they allow APTX to investigate the merits of APTX's process.
