I just got back from a trip to Italy -- it's been about 4 years since I was last there -- and I was amazed to see the growth in the number of McDonalds there. I was in Naples, Rome, and Venice and it seemed like MCD was within 15 minutes walk of most of the places I visited. Plus they had outlets in all the major train stations I stopped at. Really incredible expansion.
