Dear Schopenhauser,

I was asking a loaded question. My guess is the answer is that the float probably just grew by 100,000+ shares today.

I think you concluded that as well.

As for Sandie -- if you're gonna be dealing with these small stocks that are often hurting for money, you need to be able to figure these things out. Don't worry, after you've seen it once or twice, they're easy to recognize. I may be wrong about it, but it's safer to assume that it's caused by delution as opposed to some unexplainable trading activity.

Regards,
Chris

Edit: Hey ! Look at that !!! The MMs must have been reading our posts <grin> ! Ask finally at 1 3/4 !

You are definitely right on that score. I agree whole heartedly. However, in order to keep good people you have to pay them for working for you, and I'm not sure what the cost of living increase was for the time period that they didn't get raises, and 2 years is 5,000 a year, quite in line with what should be expected specifically since they took a cut in 96.

Perhaps they know why they did this and we don't. None of it will matter once the deal is announced and we do want these people to get credit where credit is due. And we certainly wouldn't be happy if they took a 20,000 raise when the deal is announced now would we??? And we do know it is to be announced in the next few months.

I think what really matters, is are they being over paid for work that they are doing, or is it in line with other similar companies compensation.

Luckie Sandie

Schopenhauer...I agree... But you must realize...Texaco is TOUGH...So if they don't take the raise before announcing the deal, Texaco will never give it to them later. hehehehehe

I agree, but I would be willing to approve the options on the condition of the signing of the TX deal.

<However, I am pissed that it seems like they all gave
themselves $10,000>.

Maybe they felt since they brought the TX deal in, they are to be compensated for a job well done.
