Annectdotal Tale: Two guys came into the office yesterday. Turns out they work as engineers for Burlington Northern. So, I asked them, "What do you hear about y2k stuff around the trains?"

One said, "Oh, yeah.... you mean that millenium bug thing. There's been lots of people working on it for quite awhile. They tell us things are going to be fine."

Then the other added, "Yeah, but a whole bunch of them keep leaving because they are getting offered such big bonuses to work elsewhere."

So then I asked, "You guys going to get the coal trains to the power plants?"

"Hell yes", they said, "We'll find some way to get it there."
