Jxcxjx: I agree. I don't have always time to elaborate. But if someone thinks I am full of it or not providing enough probative info, skip my post. Nevertheless, my overall opinion is based on 15 years of trading.

JX,

Thanks for your post. I follow a number of threads at SI and find them to be mostly very informative. This thread had fallen dangerously close to Yahoo level what with "Netscape sucks", "the assholes cooked the books", "Netscape's going down", and "10 bucks in 2 years" types of one liners without any thought behind them. It was my impression that discourse and the exchange of ideas was the objective. Maybe I expect too much, maybe you're too willing to settle for less, who knows?

I'll agree with you that this quarter is key for Netscape. The street has obviously looked the other way with regard to last quarter and is giving them some time to perform. It'll be very choppy for stock during this period. If they continue to make meaningful alliances and enhance the Netcenter site there should definitely be a breakout.
I guess that's where we disagree. You don't seem to believe they'll pull it off, I see momentum building. Their resume of alliances is getting pretty impressive and that kind of thing begins to grow on itself.

Have a good weekend -

RC
