hey guys, look at the trading pattern. We are back to weak demand (general market difficulties) with the shorts trading the stock back and forth at reduced prices , trying to scare out some stock. The stock trades down, attempts, on weak volume to recover, then gets wacked again. It appears about three times today.

Do you really believe that anybody with any faith in this stock would be selling now? I think not!!

By the way, I think that the agreement is probably with SAAB, given the later release of product for the 1999 model year. If so, this could cover most of SAAB's product line - three engines. Also SAAAB, being a relatively smaller player may be quicker to make decisions such as this. What do you think?

Also, after talking to Mark White (IR), he states that there is absolutely nothing to the Walter Ware rumor and that, even if there was, the contract is real. Why oh why then would Walter run if the future is so bright?

Anyway, have a good evening

Maybe we will see real results tomorrow?

Jim

To the thread-- Reference to the short campaign that
is unfolding---

With 2,000,000 shares short and about $20,000,000
in capital expended, what price target could the shorts
be shooting for? Could they be trying to close the gap
previously talked about between 6 and 8? Besides
balls of steel, and assuming they are not stupid, what
else do they have or know that has been overlooked on
this thread? It would seem to me that an unexpected
positive company announcement, that could happen
any day, would adversely hit their position. The previous
short sale campaigns in TRBDF had warrents and
preference shares at their disposal as an exit strategy.
I don't see how they expect to get rid of 2,000,000 shares
without getting caught . Especialy after all roadblocks to
Turbodyne's success have been removed (EPA approval,
OEM contracts, etc), short selling this stock seems a risky
business to be in. Any thoughts to explain these
contradictions would be enlightening.
