I do think a person's personality affects their stock market profits. Hank, e.g., favored the negative aspects of investing and indeed as an undertaker he made healthy profits from what most of us consider the ultimate negative event. Of course, he got caught in a very bad DELL bear trap because he was overcommitted to his bearish position in the presence of bullish fundamentals.

I can see playing both short term and long term bullish positions. I find it difficult to justify a long term bearish position. Most bearish positions are essentially short term in character.
