Stuart - Don't panic, be calm. There are no shorts with agendas on this thread, there are too many stocks for it to be to anyone's advantage. The difficulty, learned by many on this thread exactly like what you feel now, is that catching falling knives or calling bottoms is a guessing game. These stocks are extremely volatile! You will not be wiped out unless you panic and sell at the bottom, but you must guage your own comfort level. Remember this next time, just because everyone says its ok to buy, doesn't mean it is so. You don't know the investment styles/tolerance levels/financial net worth of any of the individuals on this thread. You must always consider that things will get worse before they get better, and buy to your own comfort/experience level. Gradual exposure is always better than diving in. Hope you are not too strung out, but be prepared for false rallies in this sector. Remember, it has good fundamentals, but patience - days, weeks, months? - may be required. Right now oil is the driving influence, and OPEC isn't until late June. If you can't sleep at night, you may want to take some losses on rallies and hope for the best.

Good luck to you.

Alex, been there in January...
