I talked with a long time shareholder of SGNC today and got some more information that seemed very interesting. It seems that this synthetic blood was originated by the Japanese and tested during World War 2 on American prisoners of war. They later tested it in the 1980's on 1100 Japanese with successful results. Apparently Dr.Drees was a part of that testing and later received a patent on the original synthetic blood. Dr. Drees has improved on the product to the point that it is now 4-5 generations removed so it requires a whole new patent and FDA approval. The original shelf life was 3 weeks, it's is now 1 1/2 years. I was told that major drug companies have already looked into this company.

The gentlemen I spoke with felt that as soon as they begin the animal testing that you could potentially see some of the major players take an equity position in the stock in anticipation of the animal trials being successful. There are a number of Biotech companies that are partially owned by the big drug companies today and I have read of several that get purchased lock stock and barrel once they look like they are ready to take off. I'm making no claims here just relating this gentleman's opinion.

I'm trying to hunt around to see if I can get more information on the company and the product, I will let you all know if I find out anymore.
