Not all that bad? Under WinNT a Celeron at 300mhz beats an equally clocked K6 and K6-me2 running Highend Winstone 98.

I am using the AMD/Petz school of benchmark selection. (Pick the one that makes your point and ignore the rest).

The K6 family relies on 16bit code to make their benchmarks look good, hence AMD's reluctance to publish WinNT benchmarks.
