Yes, you are correct. It seems like everyone is waiting for
the big kahuna to happen, look at last fall. But I
ignore the market and look at my companies....
I also believe in getting puts to lock in serious gains.
Dont mind paying insurance one bit.

<which we all known is not the case.> I disagree. I dont think we'll see a true bear market with respect to pricing. Something is different now that may help explain these 'new rules' Unlike 10 yrs ago, there are now billions of dollars pouring into the market now that wasn't there 10 yrs ago. Virtually every employee is now an investor, if only passively, as opposed to only the very wealthy and retirement funds. It's simply supply and demand for a finite number of investment alternatives there is lots more money going into it, the price has to rise...has to. people realize this is their retirement. There is no illusion now of the feds taking care of it with social security. Besides it's ludicrous to think people will work until they are 70 when the marketplace throws them out in their 40's and 50's.
