Craig H. Woodward, the broker largely responsible for Wednesday's dramatic runup, no longer is affiliated with the Atlanta securities firm where he was working as an independent contractor.

"His employment status has changed," said Jerome Borzello, president of American Wealth Management.

The trouble with the release yesterday is that Woodward is not a Certified Financial Analyst. He is a broker. American Wealth Management was not aware that Woodward was putting out releases on companies in which he owned stock, like LOCK.
