>what is your view on the oil service stocks today?<

Hi Marc,

Yep some oil stocks (including FLC and TMAR) acted well today on no news. It is hard to say why. Some fund buying? Maybe. I think they were oversold so they bounced back. Could be just a short term knee jerk reaction.

It is hard for me to make short term prediction on these pups. My long-term outlook on heavily beaten oil service/drilling stocks has not changed at all. I think the industry will sometime turn up and catch up its mega-trend (monthly charts). Again my assumption is only based on the obvious need for oil and oil products.

Until the end of summer we may see some trading range action but I think come fall, I expect a serious upturn of the sector.

Well time will tell.

Good luck.
