Where do you find your earnings warnings? Any one particular place?
Thanks.

As stated before: Box prices are coming down because component prices are coming down, and CPQ must cut prices to move over supply.

Ken, your comments are right on! I don't expect much to happen until after the FOMC meeting July 1 & 2. If CPQ, INTC & IBM don't disappoint we'll see a moderate DELL run-up going into the annual shareholder's meeting July 16 & 17. We may get some positive news at the meeting - extension of share buyback program, new strategic alliances, etc.

After the shareholder's meeting DELL's price will move based on market expectations. I suspect that the market in general believes that DELL will split at the next earnings report given that they are planning to increase the authorized shares from 1 to 3 billion at the shareholders meeting. I also suspect that the market will expect DELL to come in at 48› to 50› eps in Q2 given that Zack's consensus estimate is 45›.

Given these scenarios we should expect DELL to move up right up to the earnings report in mid August. The earnings numbers & the possible split will dictate price movement after the report.
