There are rumors around the subject since this has been a money losing proposition for CCI. It would seem to make sense since there would be no other way for MSFDC to get into the payment side of the business quickly with any kind of scale necessary to become a competitor. But then again maybe they don't sell out but just join the JV. This doesn't make sense either as Pete Kight has pointed out on numerous occasions, none of the other banks would want to contribute to the bottom line of Citibank or any other competitor for that matter.
