Earlie, My favorite is what I call the Gateway Scam, though they weren't a glimmer in anyone's eye when it was invented. You write of inventory so it is now carried at zero cost. Nobody cares about the writeoff because they ain't too smart. Then, you sell that inventory for any price over a penny, and, lo and behold, your earnings and profit margins from continuing operations improve dramatically. Are folks really that slow? Am I really slow enough to even ask that question? <G> MB
