I don't know you ever use JAVA to implement heavy weight application or not. If yes, you will know how tough it is. The performance and stability are the major issues. If you have any friend works in ORCL, you should call and check how bad it is. My friend told me that the JAVA application he tested now is crashing around 26 times per day, and system slow like a dog. No one like it, except Larry and Scott.
