don't worry about stuff like that, they always downtick at the close on a small sell, to scare people. not a problem.

There were about 100,000 shares sold the last 5 minutes, about 10,000 bought. Profit taking...as I see it, but I think they'll be sorry.
Guys, I bought infe at .93 the other day and sold for 1.31 and was feeling great about it until today.....Look where it is, So today I bought 1/2 of that back for 2.18, and am holding.... Listen to macker, we've got the MM's by the bxxls. IMO.

" What happened at the close?
What i'm looking at a 3K share sell knocked us from .65 to .57? You've got to be joking. "

As an ex-options pit market maker, we sometimes bought or sold small amounts at the close to influence settlement and account balances. Totally legal since we usually bought or sold the paper(filled customer orders). My belief is these guys swap shares out between themselves to influence the settlements and account balances, keeping tabs of what they owe each other. This is called pre-arranged trading. A Big NO-NO at the CME, CBOT and on other open outcry environments, and probably illegal everywher else. Maybe I am paranoid. Anyone please correct me if you know otherwise
