Count,

They have boosted regular dividend to 50 cents for the second half of the year - dividends paid bi-annual - and declared a 'special dividend' of 25 cents = 75 cents. It reflects their high cash position. Much more than they will need for operating and capital expenditures. How often do you see a company do that?

Of course, half of this dividend will be paid to the insiders because they own half the stock. Dividends in China/HK are not taxable and the dividends are the Insiders prime source of income. They get salaries and stock options, but no where near the amounts of comparable US companies. One of the advantages of the Insiders being the management. The obvious benefit of this is that we also get our share.
