Nobody said they are not audited. All Corso said is he wants to audit them to verify.
Hello, if someone did some work, then was gone, and your boss wanted you to verify it, wouldn't you say "timeout, I have to check it (aka audit) it before I say yes its good.

I think it is more of verifying already audited numbers. But to a CPA that means "I must audit them."
