to all: some notes on tom kurlack. the guy is hard to figure out. ever since he turned bearish he has been correct. he has done an excellent job of argueing the bearish (and reality driven case).

however, i don't trust his sorry but for a moment. what he did during the last august time fram, imho, was scam many investoirs by touting mu when he knew they were on the way down. using terms like "best of all worlds," he said mu was in a great position and had a $3.00++ eps estimate for 1998.

either he is dumb and didn't know dram pricing was collapsing (which i really doubt) or he was pumping and dumping. i think he vinicked a lot of people.

i'd NEVER just trust what tommy gun says. if it agrees with a prior well thought out opinion then so be it. but to trust tommy gun 100% of the time is to risk your capital. when he said "all semis should go up 20%" last august or so, if you had bought you'd be down about 60% on mu right now.

btw, he is right now. except i think the downside for micron tech is single digits to single digit.

abbey joseph cohen is a straight joke, as is dan niles, when calling mu. they should feel guilty picking up their paycheck after what they've just done.

That post is a friggin joke!

"In the 4 1/2 months since Kurlack made his initial call on MU, the stock has fallen 25%..." Yeah, after its rise of EIGHTY PERCENT! It's STILL higher than it was when he called it a sell back in December!

Get real!
