Here are the results of my DD on WSTL now, and talk to you later about creating the thread you speak of.
It looks as though WSTL has hit bottom, traded at 9 today, close at 52 week low of 9 1/2, and if it starts to go back the other way it will be a good trade I think. I ran a 5 year chart on it and it looks like they came public in 12/95 at about 12. They dipped to 10 and shot to 50+!!!! in the middle of 1996. Dropped to 27 almost as soon as it got to 50's, (did it split?) and went right back to the 40's. Closed 1996 out around 22 - 23 and spent 1997 between 10 & 25. Close out '97 around 12 and has found the bottom now without going above 13 or so. A break above 13 would indicate to me a shot at the mid 20's again, with one report stating the stock is a 35+ company! My thinking is to wait for that initial bounce, what do you think? There are 8 brokers who follow this stock, 2 have a strong buy out on it, 3 call it a moderate buy, and 3 call for a hold. On a scale of 1 (strong buy) 5 (strong sell) they are 2.1. Not bad for a company who has minus signs all over it! One more site for you if you did not see their last Q.

Don't let sloppy tech market with matador MM's change your mind on this company. Don't let Gary S. small selling get you down. He is retired now, building a big axx house and investing for some income. Don't let gutless analysts' that recommed at 20 to 25 but disappear at 10 get you down, they don't see a IB fee around the corner. This company is being valued at what AMTX was purchased for. AMTX did about 2m a qtr to WSTL 20M a QTR. WSTL also has a T1 business and Tele-conf business. WSTL has CAP tech and access to DMT tech plus 15M fee since TI purchase. WSTL is a GIVE AWAY...I will list IMHO what will & what could come in the future....JUNE...supercom (wstl-dsc) display litespan and WSTL-LU display 5ess and SLC-2000 at show....JUNE...ICG comm announces summer install of LU-WSTL 5ess switch...JUNE..YES..JUNE BEL deployment announcement approx 80-100 CO's Y/E....JULY...5ESS ready also DMT chips....Things that I hear...US WEST has ordered some litespan-wstl switches...BT is going CAP first purchasing WSTL product through FTEL no PR till Y/E. The DSC relationship is getting better by the week could see another product agreement... Could see possilbe WSTL-ADI deal their are no enemies in ADSL... BEL has started wiring CO's since the spring.... Their will be a whole new round of RFPs for RBOC's when DMT chips are ready and stantards done. WSTL strategy focus on CO & DLC will win big regardless of the CPE vendor....It's your choice as an investor but to sell before deployment is a JOKE!!!!!!
