Hi zebra

Like the markings on your coat these remarkable characters find their
way into the press's spotlight....you can never figure out which color
they are until they come out of the Sanvanha grasses.

Fascinating characters....they are often very interesting. Buchannan is
wonderful to listen to, Goldwater was also, Rush has a golden voice as
well as Newt, Barney Frank and many others. And I loved that little Texan,
We haven't heard from him for awhile. Clinton too. It cuts across party
lines and livens-up the show. A very peculiar party going on down there
in Washington. Both on the right and the left....about the only useful
thing they have done is raise their own salaries.

Montana is a beautiful part of the world with about as hash a climate
as you can get and still grow something. The long term residents allow
that the weather weeds out the flower beds very quickly. The people out
there maybe conservative and quiet, but that comes from self reliance
and honest conventional morals. They have a built in disdain for "flat landers",
"gad-a-bouts", "loafers" and malcontents. You make a mistake in perceiving
Montana as a bastion for splinter groups and odd ducks....**Not So**.
Atleast percentage wise there are probably a lot more in NY City or
New Orlean's.

They like to deal with problems directly....good stand-up fist fights
out back are still the first choice in settling disputs.

There lives are changing fast....because of the stupidity in Washington,
power of the Agri-business money and an inability to open new markets for
their range products. Kids are still leaving the state in great
numbers to find futures. But we have chatted about this already and
Montana hold-overs have been dealing with it for years.
Actually the state motto is:
"Come Visit as long as You Like...Just Don't Stay"

BTW....Kasinski worked very hard up there, paid his bills, supported
the library and didn't bother anyone.....sounds like Montana.

They also send democrates to the Washington congress....because they send
more money back to the state and elect republican governors and state
representitives because they spend the money better then the democrates.
Been going on for years.
