Holly, I smoke in many places that do not allow smoking such as shopping malls, hotel lobbies, airports, stadiums, movie theatre rest rooms etc. I have discovered that most cities and states do not allocate funds to enforce the no-smoking laws.

The worst that has ever happened to me is a security guard will ask me to put out my cigarette. As soon as turns the corner I light up another one. I find it funny how "they" expect us to cooperate.

Be careful in New York though. A cop can hand you a $50 summons if he catches you smoking in the subway station.
