I think this terminology "Hindu India" used by some of the
media is blatant double standard.

When India got independance we had taken a path of
secular constitution. But in Pakistan the minorities (non-muslim)
have very few rights and Pakistan people and Govt had
engaged in a systematic pogrom for ethnic cleansing.

Before independance there are close to 35% of Hindu/Sikh
population and now after ethnic cleansing it is close to 1%.

I urge people to do any search on human rights conditions
in Pakistan and they would get plenty of material on the
constitutionally approved discriminations put on Non-Muslim
population of Pakistan.

While there a lot of problems within India, atleast consitutionally
non-hindu's are not discriminated in India.

It is a shame on India and indians for not raising this religiously
sanctioned blatant discrimination in Pakistan on its minority
population.

It is not enough, being secular in india. Indian government
should bring to the notice of the whole world what happened in the last 50yrs in Pakistan.

I appreciate if anyone could post links to the sites where the human rights abuses sanctioned by the Pakistan constitution are documented.
