Michael, I agree with you regarding the India and >Pakistan declared the "state of emergency" (setting the constitution of the country out of power) because it feels threatened by another nation about 10 minutes ago.< IMO, we are all emotional beings which respond to threats to our well being. The threats (real or imaginary) to India and Pakistan people are real to each of them and if they are not careful can get out of control. IMO, they are playing a dangerous game of chicken with tremendous consequences for all of us and with the US with a weakened President and therefore an impotent US. One common organizing principle is to have a fight between two families to unite ones family members. On a national scale this would be reflected in having a war between one nation and another nation to unite ones nation citizens. But, there is only one problem--it may be a nuclear war. IMO, the potential consequences to the market tomorrow is a sell off in the market based on potential war between India and Pakistan since the market is looking for reasons for a correction. We may have an opportunity to get AMAT, etc at a real fire sale. Just my $.02. Paul V.
