Junnie... Thanks for that explanation. I wonder if it would work for you to just create enough 255 symbols dirs to accommodate however many symbols you get. This is essentially what I have with 30+ directories. It's not the nightmare it sounds like. You just print off a copy of all the symbols in a dir and that becomes your index. Seems like that would enable you to import each one and have WOW see it as a Metastock directory. Or... am I missing something here? Obviously that basic program I attached to e-mail didn't help at all. Sorry about that! Ken
