It looks like Time Traveler's humble prediction about K6-2 is coming true (could Time Traveler have been in the future lately?). The initial sentiment is positive, especially among power game players. The window of opportunity for this great chip, aimed to unseat Nintendo and the gang, is dwindling fast.

The Kryotech 450MHz super-cooled K6-2 unit is very impressive indeed. They obviously have cherry-picked one. Time Traveler remembers Jerry said 400MHz being the upper reliable limit to operate Socket-7 CPUs.

Has any one noticed how the investors are very cautious today? You just cannot blame them. They have been burnt quite a few times by hypes so far.
