CIBC Oppenheimer Corp. issued Company Report
Posted: May 25, 1998

On May 5, 1998 CIBC Oppenheimer Corp. analyst Lenny Brecken issued a 4 page Company Report on Rambus Inc. Report highlights: "A BUY rating was reiterated with a six to 12-month price target in the mid-$60s. Based on conversations with add-in card vendors, it was believed that the MPACT-2 media processor chip was gaining acceptance. This was viewed as confirmation of the belief that as the PC component consolidation continues and the adoption of multimedia applications increases, the company will be a major beneficiary. The F1998 and F1999 EPS estimates were $0.25 and $0.40, respectively."

No problem, since RMBS has been so weak lately I went searching for news, because, God knows, RMBS will not rise on it's own <vbg>, and no I am not sure when it became public nor did I see the upgrade on the Yahoo Upgrade/Downgrade list, nonetheless, CNNfn says it's so. I hate to sound like a bear, but I wonder if we will continue to languish after the news subsides, Let's hope not!
