I think it is doing alright but is now setting the world on fire. The goal is to sell about 1 million units this year. The last I read they have sold around 600k so far. They may not advertise much until before the next Back to School and Christmas season. IDTI is probably selling the MIPS parts for less than $25 ASP now - the WebTV won't ignite a huge sales or earnings increase for IDT.

WebTV - not much action
This is from the latest US News and World Report cover story on Microsoft. (www.usnews.com)

"WebTV, for example, has so far managed to sell
only 325,000 machines, and the entire cable TV
industry is on guard against intrusion by the likes of
Microsoft. Big computer companies that had
suffered defeats at the hands of Microsoft, like Sun
Microsystems and IBM, are standing strong, with a
renewed commitment to keep Microsoft in check."

The MIPS processor probably sells more in the networking area than in WebTV. Of course, there are other manfg of the MIPS proc besides IDT.
