<< Did you lose a bundle on Bre-X or are you just a student of Scam history, please enlighten us as to your true intentions. >>

BTW, everything was believable in Bre-X... I followed the exploration program since day one as the holes were being drilled and reported..I was even computing the tonnage in advance and estimating the ounces based on the drill reports.

It was really fascinating and it looked real, especially after the big houses started to follow the play and come up with their own estimates.

I don't think we will see that again. No more will investors lose big fortune on a mining scam. The street has now become extremely prudent. If MINE ever go to $5, $10 or $20...it will be because they have most of the ounces they say they have.

"Are trying to buy in the teens or are like a reformed smoker who snuffs out everyones
cigarettes for them?

Did you lose a bundle on Bre-X or are you just a student of Scam history, please
enlighten us as to your true intentions."

I am not quite sure what part you did not understand but my point was in disagreement with the comments that just because a news release, that was only 1 week old, had not been questioned by regulators, it in no way validates the contents. I gave examples of two companies that proved my point. Nothing more, nothing less.

Not interested in buying in the teens or anywhere for that matter. The share structure alone is enough to keep me away.

The only money I ever spent on Bre-x was after it was delisted. I gave a fellow worker $15. (Canadian) for a 100 share certificate. I have it here by the phone that I use to call my brokers, just as a reminder of what life is really like. I could send you a copy if you wish.

As for student of scam history.... no but there is enough of it around these days that one should be able to obtain a doctorate with little effort. I will give that some thought.

I must admit, this has been a very interesting thread.
I sincerely wish you well.

Cheers
