And you as a consumer are complaining? Goes to show this all about corporate welfare, not protecting the consumer. The consumer is happy, Hal. If at some point we become unhappy, then we will let the government know. If you are paranoid about paying fees for e-commerce, be comforted: Nobody has closed any stores yet.

Not only that, but order by phone from mail-order catalogs is really just as convenient. In fact, I've seen it said that ordering by phone for a computer purchase for example, is more preferable than ordering via the internet. I happen to prefer internet ordering, but really it doesn't make much difference to me. Last I checked, MSFT wasn't placing a toll on phone orders.

I really think you're being paranoid. But that's your right of course. But this current legal case against MSFT is not supposed to be judged on the basis of paranoia, and I hope Judge Jackson realizes that, even if Klein doesn't.
