Thean...Thanks for the good article on SEV. This does help to balance one of the main concerns about the political situation in Columbia. I have heard it before, about the regional difference of conflict within the country..but this article states it with a good clarity. As in any guerilla civil war, however [Vietnam], we have learned from history that "safety" of foreign investments can be jeopardized and impacted quite dramatically...The fact that most of the majors have pulled-out of the country is not encouraging also; this will have a negative effect on future takeovers of SEV, by limiting the buyers that would be interested in a any takeover purchase. Remember, the oil ain't worth a thing until it's out of the ground, and transported to market. Guess I'm still just overly negative on the oils. Almost bought into the rally late yesterday...but fortunately didn't want to cash-in those bonds just yet. Looks like it could have been a good move....

This India/Pakistan thing isn't garnering enough respect from the markets to reflect its true significance on world instability. As a student of the region, the alliances behind the scenes [China,etc..] have a large stake in the area. And, this is the first Moslem Bomb, no??
